**GoodWork is a charity, creating meaningful, equitable employment opportunities for young people from marginalised communities, while enabling employers to make the systems and culture change needed for underrepresented talent to thrive.** You can learn more about us in our 2024 Impact Report and via this video featuring our programme.
Our Early Careers Programme supports 18–25-year-olds from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, to access high-quality training, support and paid work experience across a six-month period. We run both an online and in-person (London-based) programme, where we’ve helped young people such as Farhan, Fayez, **Angelle** and Razz kickstart their careers.
We work with values aligned employers, supporting you to engage your team and deliver social value in line with GoodWork’s mission and your social mobility commitments. Our partners for corporate volunteering have included PA Consulting, Flutter Entertainment, AXA XL, Expedia Group, A&O Shearman and Baringa.

We work with partners to deliver group volunteering days, creating social impact while supporting teambuilding and professional development.
We host and facilitate a CV or Interview Skills Clinic at either your office or our London Community Hub, with the opportunity for 8-12 volunteers to work directly with our candidates, supporting them in building essential employability skills and increasing their chances of securing full time work.
As well as delivering brilliant impact for our young people, our volunteers benefit from a meaningful volunteer opportunity, the chance to learn from GoodWork’s inclusive hiring approach and develop their leadership skills.
“This has been a really enjoyable experience personally and it has been great to be able to support a young person in a very challenging employment environment. One of my goals is to use my professional experience for good and I feel that I have been able to do so.” - Volunteer, Flutter
These full-day volunteering opportunities are available from £225 + VAT per volunteer (min. 8 volunteers), or a flat cost of £2,000 + VAT for up to 12 volunteers. Comprehensive briefing materials are provided to support volunteers.

Assessment Centres
Support candidates at the very beginning of their GoodWork journey. Individuals can volunteer for a day to support our Assessment Centres – using their professional skills to interview and offering feedback on the suitability of candidates for the GoodWork programme.
Volunteers help our team to ensure our support reaches those most aligned with what we offer, while giving young people valuable interview experience and supporting your team to develop best practice for inclusive interviewing.
Partner places for Assessment Centre volunteering days are available for £225 + VAT per volunteer, with no minimum number of volunteers. Comprehensive training is provided to support volunteers to build their interview skills and feel fully prepared for the day.
Mentoring
GoodWork mentors have the rewarding experience of guiding and nurturing participants throughout their GoodWork journey – as they apply for jobs and transition into their first professional roles. This is an ongoing (flexible) opportunity of ~5 hours per month across a 6-month period.
“It's been brilliant being a mentor with you. I admire the care you put into your programme and, on a personal level, I've been inspired by my mentees.” - GoodWork mentor
Volunteers use their skills and experience to support our young people to set goals, apply for and land jobs, and transition successfully into work. They develop leadership skills through regular engagement with their mentee, deepening their understanding of different experiences in the jobs market and at work.
“It was incredibly rewarding to witness their increasing confidence over time. Seeing them secure a job was particularly fulfilling, as it tangibly demonstrated their progress. Being able to give back and make a real difference in someone's professional journey was deeply satisfying.” - GoodWork mentor
Ringfenced mentoring opportunities are available for £500 + VAT per mentor, with no minimum number of volunteers. Comprehensive training and ongoing support is provided by the GoodWork team.
